At Bonnet, manufacturer and bed shop in Besançon, our collection of natural pillows is exclusively made of feathers and down from the best French farms, according to a unique know-how. Each pillow is filled, hand-sewn and checked by seamstresses and sewers, guaranteeing a perfect finish.

Feathers and down
Feathers and down ensure exceptional performance: perfect thermal insulation, lightness, breathability and great durability.
– Down: the precious material of the goose or duck (about 10% of the feathers). It consists of a core around which small fibers grow in all directions. This constitution gives it both flexibility and swelling by storing a large volume of air, which provides all the warmth necessary for your nights.
-The feather: it is composed of a central stem with branches on either side. Depending on its size, it is called a feather or a featherbed.

Goose and duck
Since geese are larger than ducks, goose down is usually even fuller than duck down. The goose down will therefore be lower in weight but of the same thermal comfort.

Comfort and support
Whatever the down and feather combination offered in our different models of natural pillows, one of the intrinsic qualities of our natural pillows is the ability of the filling to perfectly fit the shape of the head and neck and therefore offer well-distributed support, without pressure points.
The amount and proportion of down and feathers determines the support and comfort of each pillow: the down provides a soft welcome and the feathers provide support.
The denser and heavier the pillow, the firmer it will be.

Advice according to the usual sleeping position:

• Side or back sleepers : the pillow should offer good support, firm or soft, with some loft (e.g., Anatole )
• Large or broad-shouldered side sleeper: pillow should be very plump and firm (e.g., Milo)
• Prone sleeper: very flat pillow with a light weight. (e.g., Hugo)
